Gloriously Golden

GoldenGolden by Monika Pardon

My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Suspenseful! Intriguing, and dramatic!
Sonora is not your typical moody teenager, as she has been through much more than she should have to at her young age. Yet through her trials, her personality is very real, and genuine and we feel her pain, and her fear, as well as her joys as we discover and travel the strange path she has taken in the last few months after the death of her grandmother. Finding out who she can and can’t trust, Sonora is a true heroine.
The author does a terrific job of keeping up the pace and always drawing you in. We feel what Sonora feels, and Ms. Pardon maintains the suspense all the way through.
Great Job!

My Life with Autism : Ethan Rice

My Life with Autism

What a treasure! This should available in every elementary school. An excellent book from the perspective of a child with autism.

It is a wonderfully accepting and understanding laced with honesty and truth that is incredible refreshing. I commend Anchor Group for finding such a treasure and hope this becomes a staple among homes. Children without autism should read this as well, to gain an understanding of their fellow classmate who have autism at a level that is written for their understanding.

I highly recommend this for all teachers.  Parochial schools should have a copy in every class room.

Malevolent Gateway

Malevolent Gateway (S.P.I.R.I.T. Series, Volume 2)Malevolent Gateway by Dawn Gray

My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Ms. Gray exceeds the first! In her second S.P.I.R.I.T team novel, Author Dawn Gray brings together the team to investigate a very dark swamp with some extremely evil and disturbing events surrounding it. Her characters are wonderfully likeable and she manages to incorporate all elements, love, laughter , and friendship among them. She masterfully weaves difficult plot twists, making them easy to follow and incredibly suspenseful, keeping you on the edge of your seat until the finally. The is able to tie the connections together brilliantly without making it seem cheesy, and take the relationships to the next level while maintaining the essential plot elements.
Excellent read. Highly recommend. Can’t wait for More SPIRIT.
